Gordon, Bob Menke passed away September 14, 2019. Memorial Service was last night. 9/27/2019. Celebration of Life is today. Casual fun attire if you can make Obituary
On Saturday, 14 September 2019, Robert “Bob” Menke, loving husband and father of four children, went to be with the Lord at the age of 75.
Robert was born on 7 November, 1943 in St. Louis, MO to George A Menke and Ruth M (Bircher) Menke. Robert received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. On 18 September 1965, he married Judith “Judy” Alice Jackson. They raised (2) sons, Rich and Peter, and (2) daughters, Pam and Jennifer.
Robert loved the ocean, driving his red Mustang convertible, music, and golfing; but most of all, he loved his family. His great passion was being a good husband, father, grandfather, provider and protector. To his family, he was the most selfless, courageous, loving mentor a family could ever hope to have. To others, he was stoic, quiet but blunt, and always had a steadfast presence. When he spoke, everyone listened no matter the crowd.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, George, and his mother, Ruth. He is survived by his amazing wife Judy, his four children, Rich, Pam, Jennifer, and Pete, his sister Patricia “Patty” (Menke) Irwin, (11) grandchildren and (2) great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, 27 September 2019 at Pitman Brown Funeral Home in Warrenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Service will begin at 5:00 pm.

Out of respect for the family in mourning, the Interment will be private to family.
A Celebration of Life (COL) will be held for Robert at 1200 on Saturday, 28 September 2019 at In Him Ministries in Warrenton, MO. The attire for the COL is any summer attire, flower shirts/dress preferred. If anyone has fun stories of Bob, please share at the COL.
